Ty Beanie Babies Roary the Lion
Behold the king of the jungle. This majestic lion was born February 20, 1996. His poem reads: Deep in the jungle they crowned him king But being brave is not his thing A cowardly lion some might say He hears his roar and runs away! Roary is light brown from the tip of his nose to the tuft on his tail. He has white under his chin and in his ears. His not-so-fierce eyes are gold with black centers, and his little nose is hard plastic with a beige velveteen finish. He's cute all over, but his fuzzy mane and tail tuft are what really catch your eye--and your heart. Surface wash only. --Peggy Etra

Just right for serious cuddling, he measures 16 inches long from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail, and is surface washable. --Marianne Painter

Care Bears Cousin's Plush with Video "Brave Heart Lion"
The Care Bears, in case folks didn't know, have all sorts of fluffy animal friends. Well, they're officially Care Bear "Cousins," but the genetics are too weird to get into. Still, they all have the same great resumes as the Care Bears, like the 12-inch Brave Heart Lion. And just in case your kids want to hear more about Brave Heart's tales of heroism, bravery, and dedication, the soft, orange lion also comes with an animated, videotaped story kids can watch at home. --Diane Beall

Jumbo Lion King Nala
This jumbo version of Nala, the spunky lioness cub and best friend to Simba in The Lion King, is a real beauty. Standing approximately 22-inches-tall, her wide smile and laughing eyes are sure to inspire lots of hugs. Her front legs are a little wobbly (just like a real young lion), but her large paws help keep her upright and her hind legs bend slightly at the knees so kids can have fun setting her up in different positions. Nala's long tail measures 12 inches and the small tuft of hair on her head and her soft and squeezable ears just beg for a friendly head to snuggle up and rest against them. A perfect companion for reading or watching TV, Nala is made of a soft polyester fiber and is surface washable.
